NOTICE TO ALL GSC MEMBERS Concerning the Children’s Fitness Tax Credit

Gloucester Skating Club is in the process of preparing receipts for skating fees paid after January 1, 2007. A notice will be posted indicating that the receipts are available for pick-up. The government information clarifies that a receipt for income tax purposes will be issued for amounts paid in 2007 only. Amounts paid in 2006 do not qualify even if all or part of the activity takes place in 2007. For further information on the Children’s Fitness Tax Credit, please see the CDN government web sites.
